Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR is hiring an Emergency Response Technician to join our field team in rapid disaster response. You will be among the first on scene to fires and floods, performing board-up, tarp-over, debris removal, and content pack-outs while communicating with homeowners in crisis.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year restoration experience, basic hand tool skills, and a high school diploma or GED. This full-time role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a path for career growth

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction/restoration experience (water, fire, or mold).
• Basic hand tool knowledge required.
• Carpentry or framing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be first on site after fires, floods, and other emergencies.
• Perform emergency board-up and tarp-over services.
• Communicate with home and business owners in crisis.
• Assist in property cleanup, debris removal, and content pack-outs.
• Work with tools, ladders, and smart devices.
• Drive to multiple job sites - up to 75 miles/day.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
