Job summary

Lewis Environmental LLC is seeking a field operations leader to execute Emergency Response services and manage field personnel and equipment. The role requires coordination with project managers and a willingness to assist outside normal hours.

Responsibilities include directing spill leaders, ensuring safety compliance, communicating across the chain of command, and documenting activities thoroughly. A CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in a comparable position in an environmental contracting company.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR and background.
• Flexibility in schedule including weekends and on-call.
• Strong focus on Safety, Integrity, Accountability, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field crews follow JSAs and monitor PPE levels.
• Provide leadership to Royersford-based Spill Leaders and FTO.
• Communicate through Emergency Services Chain of Command.
• Follow directions from Field Supervisor/Coordinator/PMs.
• Enforce safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Lead task assignments to ensure quality completion.
• Assist in training of newly hired staff.
• Address employee concerns professionally and promptly.
• Report incidents and assist investigations.
• Complete daily notes and required paperwork with customer signature.
• Photo-document all response activities before, during, and after.
