Job summary

The Lewis Group is seeking an Emergency Response Supervisor to manage field personnel and equipment for emergency response services, with out-of-hours availability as needed. This role requires leadership over field crews and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Field Supervisors/PMs, ensuring PPE and JSAs compliance, and providing training to new staff while maintaining documentation and client communication throughout response activities.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in environmental contracting or similar
• Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR and background
• Flexible schedule including weekends and on-call status
• Strong focus on safety, integrity, accountability and quality
• 40 hours OSHA and related safety training (provided)
• DOT Drug & Alcohol Training (provided)
• DOT Examiner’s Certificate (part of pre-employment testing)
• CDL preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews; ensure JSAs are followed and PPE levels monitored.
• Direct Royersford-based Spill Leaders and First Team Out (FTO).
• Maintain clear communication through the emergency services chain of command.
• Follow directions from Field Supervisor/Coordinator/PMs.
• Enforce safety rules and OSHA regulations on-site.
• Assign tasks to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Assist training and development of new staff.
• Address employee concerns promptly and professionally.
• Report health and safety incidents and assist investigations.
• Complete daily notes and required paperwork, with customer signatures.
• Photo-document all response activities before, during, and after.
