Job summary

Lewis Environmental LLC is seeking a professional CDL Driver to support environmental services projects, transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials and responding to environmental emergencies. You will ensure safe vehicle operation and compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements, while supporting day-to-day operations and emergency response efforts.

The role requires a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, clean MVR, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience, preferably with hazmat handling.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Clean MVR and successful criminal background check (FMCSA).
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance (DOT/OSHA).
• 40 hours of OSHA safety training is a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive commercial vehicles to support environmental services projects.
• Maintain DOT/OSHA certifications required for operating a CDL truck, including hazardous materials.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA regulations; participate in required safety training.
• Respond as On-Call Emergency Response Team member to environmental spills and emergencies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep equipment in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with regulations for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Assist in completing various environmental tasks as part of the team.
