Qualifications

• Knowledge of stormwater inspection, construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and permit requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, maps, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily field activities and assignments.
• Inspect canals, culverts, pump stations, and stormwater systems.
• Operate heavy equipment and stormwater maintenance gear safely.
• Perform road sweeps, drain cleaning, and sediment removal.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs.
• Support emergency response during floods and storms.
• Train less experienced staff in procedures and safety.
• Maintain inspection records and equipment logs.
• Ensure compliance with MS4/NPDES and city policies.
