Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking an Emergency Response Specialist to advance the emergency response initiative and plan in alignment with Ameren's strategic and operational objectives. The role involves developing training, conducting exercises, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will travel during emergencies, represent Ameren with local/state agencies, and help ensure readiness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seven+ years may substitute.
• National Incident Management System certification preferred.
• Experience responding to emergency events required.

Responsibilities

• Understand, support, and promote an effective business approach to emergency response.
• Understand, support, and promote Ameren's emergency response initiative and Emergency Response Plan.
• Develop and conduct emergency response training.
• Develop, conduct, and evaluate emergency response exercises.
• Serve as a member of the Ameren emergency response organization in various roles.
• Evaluate response and compliance with the Emergency Response Plan.
