Advantage SCI, LLC in the Washington D.C. metro area is seeking an Emergency Response/COOP/Safety Specialist.

This on-site role supports a federal agency security program and may deploy to an Emergency Relocation Site for exercises or actual incidents in the DC metro area. Responsibilities include developing and delivering Active Shooter training, maintaining the Occupant Emergency Plan and COOP plan, conducting COOP evaluations, and coordinating safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Active Shooter program development, implementation, and training delivery; CPR/First Aid and AED training coordination.
• Creation, revision, dissemination, delivery and tracking of training; implement emergency response plans and awareness programs such as Occupant Emergency Plan, COOP Plan, Active Shooter.
• COOP program evaluations monthly and annually.
• Apply analytical methods to analyze emergency response data; develop reports using standardized templates.
• Train Occupant Emergency Plan team members on radio use, procedures, and processes.
• Coordinate Annual National Emergency Preparedness Event with Federal, State, Local and non-governmental organizations.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and speech; ensure timely, accurate messaging.
• Independently take meeting notes and compose briefing/minutes for distribution.
• Provide advice and guidance per guidelines.
• Maintain inventory for emergency rations, water, First Aid Kits and safety supplies.
