Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and agency investigations.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or four years of military experience.
• Possession of FEMA certifications related to SME duties.
• Experience presenting to executive managers.

Responsibilities

• Bi-annually develop and coordinate COOP plans with HQ and field units.
• Conduct monthly inspections of COOP plans for policy compliance.
• Review after-action reports from HQs and field units on COOP exercises.
• Update ConOps and coordinate response protocols for ESF-13 NRF activation.
• Ensure pandemic influenza plans align with CDC recommendations and mandates.
• Maintain MOUs with county public health departments.
• Coordinate executive responses to COGCON alerts and liaison with officials.
• Develop and implement agency test training and exercise programs.
