ConnectedHealth in Millersburg, OH is seeking a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care for patients of all ages under physician direction.

Responsibilities include administering therapies, monitoring cardiopulmonary conditions, and collaborating with care teams to achieve optimal outcomes. Must hold an accredited RT program, Ohio license, NBRC, and BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications. Local hospital setting; competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience providing respiratory care and interventions.
• Emergency response and drills participation.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and discharge instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as ordered by physicians or approved practitioners
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in emergency drills
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Support and involve Primary Support Persons or family members in patient care when appropriate
• Ensure all respiratory care services are delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate professionalism, clinical competency, and commitment to organizational values
