Job summary

ConnectedHealth in Ohio seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver comprehensive respiratory care under physician direction, supporting a collaborative clinical team in a hospital setting.

You will provide therapies, monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, respond to emergencies, educate families, and ensure care aligns with hospital policies. Active Ohio license, NBRC, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE) with 1–3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license.
• NBRC Certification.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE Certifications.
• 1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as ordered by physicians or approved practitioners.
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in emergency drills.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Support and involve primary support persons or family members in patient care when appropriate.
• Ensure all respiratory care services are delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism, clinical competency, and commitment to organizational values.
