PetVet Care Centers' Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency is seeking a Radiology/Emergency Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks, including equipment cleaning, patient care, and clerical work. The role is based in Memphis, Tennessee, within a leading specialty and 24/7 emergency hospital network.

The position requires 18+ years of age and at least several years of General Practice experience; radiology and ER experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Multiple years of experience in General Practice.
• Radiology and ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet patients and owners and record weight and vitals
• Triage patients and assist licensed staff as directed
• Calm and soothe anxious patients
• Assist doctors with medications and restraints
• Perform lab tests and take radiographs
• Operate and maintain hospital equipment and monitors
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
