PetVet Care Centers' Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency is seeking an Overnight ER Ward Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks, including cleaning, feeding, restraining patients, and clerical duties. The role operates in a 24/7 ER and specialty hospital in Memphis, TN, delivering compassionate care around the clock.

Qualified candidates must be 18+, with at least 2 years of general practice experience; ER experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have at least 2 years of general practice experience.
• ER experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, and record vitals upon arrival.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain equipment and keep hospital areas clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Show up for work regularly; full-time presence for every shift.
• Promote hospital products and services and support the organization.
