Job summary

North Dakota Department of Homeland Security seeks an Emergency Program Specialist to support federal grant program sub-recipients and coordinate statewide emergency management exercises. You will provide technical assistance for environmental documentation and help develop and submit required materials.

Ideal candidates will have a background in emergency operations, grant administration, and training facilitation, with a willingness to work within the Office of the Adjutant General's Homeland

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in emergency operations, environmental historic preservation, grant management, or facilitating training or educational sessions.
• Associates degree and five (5) years of experience in emergency operations, environmental historic preservation, grant management, or facilitating training or educational sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support statewide emergency management exercises and environmental documentation submissions.
• Foster planning, coordination, and facilitation of exercises, seminars, workshops, and drills.
• Provide technical assistance to local emergency managers on federal grant programs and training needs.
