NYC Health Department seeks a Training Manager for the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response (OEPR) to lead and continually improve the agency’s training programs for emergency preparedness and response. The role focuses on adult learners, stakeholder collaboration, and outcome-based training delivery.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in emergency management, public health, disaster management, emergency preparedness/administration, public administration, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one of the areas described above.

Responsabilidades

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of an emergency preparedness and response training program.
• Support proactive identification of training needs, topics, gaps, and resources.
• Lead development of emergency preparedness and response training, in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Lead or support delivery of training in multiple modalities (in-person, virtual, online, video).
• Explore and implement technology to improve learning, engagement, assessment, and attendance tracking.
• Develop, maintain and track indicators related to training completion and competency building.
• Provide technical assistance to other DOHMH programs on training development.
