Ziply Fiber is seeking a Building Services Specialist—Generator in Gresham, Oregon. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance for emergency generators, transfer switches, fuel tanks, and related equipment.

Requires field readiness, strict compliance, and ability to work varied hours as needed. Qualified candidates bring 5+ years in generator/diesel maintenance, valid license, and strong tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of generator and/or diesel engine maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to operate hand/power tools and testing devices.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on stationary and portable generators.
• Maintain fuel tanks and monitoring systems; manage CMMS records.
• Liaise with DEQ and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Operate in field with decisions based on analysis of equipment capabilities.
• May require evenings/nights, overtime, and out-of-town assignments.
