Job summary

Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking qualified dispatch personnel to handle emergency and nonemergency police calls. The role involves documenting incidents, prioritizing calls, and coordinating with officers and other services.

Training may be provided for entry-level candidates, with emphasis on accuracy and clear radio communication. Candidates should be able to type accurately, understand spoken information, and learn jurisdictional geography, with background checks and security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent required; training may be provided for entry-level roles.
• Must type accurately and communicate clearly by radio.
• Ability to learn jurisdictional geography and operate under security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and nonemergency requests for police assistance.
• Document incident locations, descriptions, vehicle details, and hazards.
• Assign calls to officers according to priority and procedures.
• Monitor officer status, radio traffic, and requests for assistance.
• Coordinate with neighboring agencies and other emergency services.
