Job summary

Getty is seeking an Emergency Planning Assistant to support emergency preparedness, response readiness, and compliance across the Getty locations including the Getty Center and Valencia Annexes. The role involves coordinating inspections, maintaining supplies, supporting training, and assisting with drills and activations to ensure operational readiness.

You will work with Visitor & Security Services and cross-department teams to maintain accurate records and help meet department priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–4 years related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency equipment inspections across Getty locations.
• Maintain preparedness supplies and records.
• Support training and regulatory requirements; assist with drills and activations.
• Assist with department initiatives and documentation across locations.
