Getty Digital is seeking a project manager to lead complex initiatives that enhance the visitor experience across on-site and online platforms. The role sits in the Portfolio Project Management Office and partners with product managers, engineers, and subject-matter experts to deliver end-to-end solutions.
This is a three-year limited term position reporting to the PPMO Manager, with responsibilities spanning discovery through implementation and governance.

This position plays a central role in this effort by managing complex technical projects to advance Getty’s work. This is a three-year limited term position.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join the Portfolio Project Management Office (PPMO) team within Getty Digital for a limited term employment of three years. This position reports to the PPMO Manager and works closely with the Digital Visitor Experience Director, project leads, and staff from across the organization, including product managers, engineers, and subject-matter experts to implement innovative solutions that address our user and business needs (cross organizational interface at the leadership level).
This role will support a evolving constellation of projects that support an enterprise-wide initiative to improve the visitor experience from first click to lifelong relationship. Inaugural projects for this position will include Digital Signage, improvements to fundraising systems, and projects at the intersection of getty.edu and web applications that help people engage with Getty online and on-site. In partnership with project leads, the project manager will help structure and run projects from start to finish, from discovery through implementation. Activities will include coordinating sequencing, supporting alignment discussions and governance activities, managing vendor contracts, and guiding and managing steering and working groups. The project manager is a key role that ensures project teams have what they need to move work forward. This position is a hybrid work environment opportunity; this is not a permanent remote assignment. The successful candidate must be a California resident when employment begins, reside within a commutable distance of Getty, and must work at least one day per week on Getty’s campus.
