Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas seeks an ED Paramedic to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages under the Medical Director. The Paramedic reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and works with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires completion of an accredited paramedic program, Texas LP/EMT-P license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, arrhythmia competency, and at least 1 year of experience in pre-hospital or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• 1 year experience as a Paramedic in a pre-hospital or hospital environment preferred.
• Licensed Paramedic (LP) or EMT-P in the state of Texas.
• BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS, and PALS Healthcare Provider courses.
• Must demonstrate arrhythmia competency by 90% score on testing within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the Medical Director.
• Perform ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and initiation of protocol orders in ED.
• Collaborate with RNs and Medical Providers to deliver care to adult medical and trauma patients.
• Collect pertinent data within certification scope and chart appropriately.
• Ensure patient safety and effective communication during shifts.
