Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Denton, TX is seeking a Paramedic (EMT-P) for our high-volume Emergency Department. This full-time evening shift role supports physicians and the ED team in delivering safe, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities include IV administration, airway management, documentation in the EHR, and patient care through various procedures. Candidates should meet ACLS/BLS/PALS timelines and hold EMT-P or LP licensure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship required.
• 1 year Paramedic experience in EMS or Fire Dept preferred.
• EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic required or LP - Licensed Paramedic.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides Safe Patient Care Under Physician Delegation.
• Completes accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Provides consistent attention to airway, intake, elimination, sleep, rest, mobility and hygiene needs.
• Applies antiembolic stockings and sequential compression devices.
• External defibrillation and oxygen therapy support.
• Ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access and venous access tasks.
• Draws blood from ports and supports other care team duties.
