Central Maine Power Co. is seeking a Program Manager for Emergency Operations in Augusta, ME.

The role focuses on developing and supporting emergency preparedness, planning, and response across electric, natural gas, and hydro operations, with emphasis on outages and pre/post-event activities. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience in emergency management, planning, and utility operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years relevant experience.
• Experience in Emergency Management, Emergency Planning, Managing Response and Operations, and/or Utility operations.
• Experience with project management and budgets.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively and contribute as a member of a team to develop emergency preparedness and planning within AVANGRID.
• Must be highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and deliverables to successful completion.

Mansioni

• Develops and implements AVANGRID’s emergency management preparedness and planning program.
• Drive strategy, continuous improvement, and execution of operational readiness activities.
• Develop emergency management policies and procedures to ensure preparedness for future events.
• Ensure internal alignment and training for emergency response.
• May serve as AVANGRID emergency management representative for governmental/regulatory entities.
• Collaborate with external entities to build relationships and best practices.
• Provide strategic direction to management on emergency management objectives.
• Promote ongoing improvement across AVANGRID in emergency management.
