Job summary

Holland America-Princess (Holland America Dawson City Inn) seeks a skilled emergency management professional to support the Borough's Emergency Operations Center. You will coordinate disaster response, ensure ICS/NIMS compliance, and manage EOC logistics.

The role requires five years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and involvement in drills and real incidents to strengthen emergency preparedness and response efforts.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in the occupational field.
• Experience in emergency management, coordinating response, planning, preparedness, response and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage projects to ensure preparation, response, recovery and mitigation of disasters.
• Respond to emergency incidents and support the Incident Command Post and Emergency Operations Center.
• Participate in drills, exercises and real emergencies as part of the Incident Management Team.
• Coordinate disaster response activities with borough jurisdictions and state authorities.
• Ensure borough claims for disaster relief are submitted in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Develop and monitor projects, schedules, budgets and cost estimates.
• Identify and deliver ICS/NIMS courses as assigned.
• Maintain EOC, logistics and tracking software and inventory.
