Qualifications

• BSN required and Alabama RN licensure.
• Minimum 5 years in progressive leadership in Emergency Services.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in budgeting and resource allocation in an acute care setting.
• Strong data interpretation and performance-improvement experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (or obtainable within a defined timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Services department.
• Develop and implement programs to improve patient outcomes and ensure cost-effective care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to enhance clinical performance and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for providers and staff.
• Oversee staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.
