Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) in Florence, AL to lead the Emergency Services department. This full-time, on-site role drives strategic initiatives, improves patient outcomes, and leads cross-disciplinary teams in a high-acuity setting.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, Alabama RN licensure, at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services, and strong budgeting and data-interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current or eligible for Alabama RN licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in an acute care setting.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and performance-improvement initiatives.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (or obtainable within a defined timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Services department.
• Develop and implement innovative programs to improve patient outcomes and ensure cost-effective care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to enhance clinical performance and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for providers and staff.
• Oversee staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.
