Job summary

Responsibilities include taking medical histories, performing physicals, ordering tests, coordinating care, referrals, and ensuring timely chart submissions per statute.

Qualifications

• Completes medical history and performs physical assessment accurately and efficiently.
• Orders labs, radiologic and other tests per standards.
• Interprets clinical data to determine diagnosis and therapy needs.
• Administers, dispenses, prescribes drugs within scope and collaborative agreement.

Responsibilities

• Completes medical history and performs physical assessment accurately and efficiently.
• Creates patient problem list at first encounter and updates at follow-up.
• Orders laboratory, radiologic and special examinations as indicated.
• Interprets clinical data to determine diagnosis and need for treatment.
• Consults with collaborating physician for conditions outside acute self-limited scope.
• Makes specialty referrals when needed.
• Maintains timely review and management of abnormal test results.
• Establishes care plans and provides counseling per joint protocols.
