Job summary

Freeman Health System in Missouri is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide primary care within the APRN scope, operating without direct medical supervision under the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.

The APRN will enter into a collaborative practice agreement with a physician licensed to practice in Missouri and will be authorized to diagnose and initiate treatment, and to administer, dispense and prescribe medications as appropriate to patient care.

Qualifications

• APRN licensure in Missouri per MO State Board of Nursing.
• RN license in Missouri or a compact state; compact license must be resident state.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care within APRN scope without medical supervision, under MO Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain collaborative practice agreement with a physician licensed in Missouri.
• Deliver health care services including diagnosis and initiation of treatment.
