Freeman Health System in Missouri seeks an APRN who performs primary care within a collaborative practice agreement with a physician licensed in Missouri.
The APRN will diagnose, initiate treatment for acute and chronic conditions, and provide counseling based on joint protocols. This role requires licensure, prescriptive authority, and ability to work within regulatory scope.
Performs primary care consistent with APRN's specialized knowledge, judgment, skill, training and education without medical supervision or delegation as authorized by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
APRN will enter into and maintain a collaborative practice agreement with a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Missouri. Under such agreement, the physician delegates to the APRN authority to deliver health care services and treatments, and to administer, dispense and prescribe drugs which are specific to those clinical conditions he/she is authorized to treat.
The APRN is authorized to provide health care services that include the diagnosis and initiation of treatment for acutely or chronically ill or injured persons.
