McPherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to evaluate, plan, implement and document holistic nursing care. The role works in a fast-paced ED/trauma setting and requires ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within 6 months of hire.

Full-time nights 7p-7a with a potential $15,000 sign-on bonus; Kansas license in good standing is required. The department emphasizes teamwork, patient education, and timely care delivery in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• BSN preferred; continuing education encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and plan nursing care.
• Administer medications following five rights of administration.
• Communicate with physicians and team to coordinate care.
• Document care plans and patient progress for discharge planning.
• Perform triage and medical screening in the ED as needed.
