Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Nurse Staff for the Emergency Care Center. This full-time night shift (7pm–7am) includes every other weekend, providing nursing care per the medical plan of care and coordinating with the ECC team.

The role requires an Associate of Nursing Degree and completion of essential certifications within 12 months of hire. The nurse will document care, communicate findings, and support department leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate of Nursing Degree required.
• Completion of De-Escalation course, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC and NIH Stroke certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document professional nursing care per the medical plan of care, policies, and standards.
• Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Communicate findings to appropriate person(s) as indicated.
• Serve as a resource for SRH ECC nursing personnel to resolve work issues.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by department leadership.

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH, ECC, and Nursing Policies, Procedures, & Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serve as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work related issues. Perform any other job-related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, ECC Supervisor, or Lead/Charge Nurse.

Job Qualifications:

• Associate of Nursing Degree required
• Complete initial competencies as defined (De-Escalation course, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100 &
