Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare Greenwood, SC, is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Emergency Care Center. This full-time, 1pm–1am mid-shift role includes every other weekend to support patient care.

Apply nursing process, coordinate with the team, and document care per plan and policies. Requires ADN, SC RN licensure eligibility, and completion of required competencies within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Associate of Nursing Degree required.
• Complete initial competencies (De-Escalation, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100 & 700) and NIH Stroke certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide and document professional nursing care per the plan of care and standards.
• Coordinate and delegate care with other professionals and ancillary staff; communicate findings to appropriate persons.
• Serve as a resource for SRH ECC nursing personnel and perform other duties as requested.

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH, ECC, and Nursing Policies, Procedures, & Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serve as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work related issues. Perform any other job-related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, ECC Supervisor, or Lead/Charge Nurse.

Job Qualifications
