Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, with a night shift schedule. Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Experience in inpatient/long-term care or related training within the last 3 years is required.

Strong communication, time management, and multitasking abilities are essential to support patient care and collaboration with the nursing team.

Job Description

Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports any changes in patient condition.

Education:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Required:Experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting within the last 3 years, or EMT, CNA or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years, or Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years or Completed fundamentals of nursing course with clinical in accredited professional or practice nursing program, or completion of 90 days in the Apprenticeship position.
