CoxHealth is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant for night shifts at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. You will assist nursing staff by taking vitals, helping patients with daily activities, and supporting care teams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and MO CNA license, with preferred prior inpatient or long-term care experience. Night shifts, benefits, and sign-on incentives are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Missouri CNA license required or ability to obtain within specified timeline.
• Completed Unlicensed Assistive Personnel program or equivalent nursing assistant training.
• Prior patient care in inpatient or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Move patients and change linens; report changes in condition.

Job Description:

Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned. Obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports any changes in patient condition.

3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years OR

Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years OR

Completed the "fundamentals of nursing" course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program OR

Must have Missouri CNA License OR

Must have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
