Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. The role includes taking vitals, assisting patients with bathing, dressing, mobility, and linen changes during a night shift.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and Missouri CNA license (or completion of an approved UAP program). 3 months inpatient or long-term care experience preferred; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or accepted.
• Missouri CNA License or completion of approved UAP program is required.
• 3 months experience as nursing assistant in inpatient/long-term care OR completed fundamentals nursing course.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and report changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, mobility and linen changes.
• Support care activities and respond to patient needs during a night shift.
