UPMC Presbyterian is seeking an innovative and energetic Program Director to lead the Emergency Medicine Residency program housed within the University of Pittsburgh Physicians Department of Emergency Medicine. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Emergency Medicine with a minimum of three years of residency program leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead our EM Residency Program, ensuring excellence in quality, outcomes, and compliance with ACGME, institutional, and departmental standards.
• Oversee curriculum development and the educational environment to prepare residents for independent practice, scholarship, and leadership in emergency medicine.
• Lead the team that helps accomplish these important aspects across a multi-site training environment.
• Recruit and support outstanding residents while fostering professional identity formation, mentorship, and career development.
• Advance the departmental mission through teaching, scholarship, faculty development, and high-quality clinical care.
