Job Description

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville invites applications for a full‑time research faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates will establish an independent, extramurally funded clinical research program of outstanding quality and assist with ongoing funded projects. The program should focus on pain management, emergency medical services/prehospital care, clinical toxicology, pharmacogenomics, asthma, precision emergency medicine and related fields. Candidates may come from disciplines such as toxicology, pharmacy, emergency medicine, emergency medical services, or critical care.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high‑impact, funded research program aligned with the department’s focus areas.
