Job Description

The University of Florida, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking exceptional board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine to become an integral part of our department. This is an invitation to embark on a dynamic journey where your expertise will contribute to cutting-edge healthcare and medical excellence. The department is an independent academic unit within the College of Medicine, dedicated to training medical students, residents, and fellows to become educators, researchers, and leaders in emergency medicine. The successful candidate will join our growing Department in a non-tenure accruing position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The appointment is with the University of Florida and becomes part of a group that supports the expansion of clinical services in the community and across the state. The UF Department of Emergency Medicine maintains an affiliation with UF Health Shands Hospital, a 1,162-bed teaching facility with a Level 1 trauma center and burn center, serving as the primary referral center for North Central Florida.
