The University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine - Jacksonville is seeking a full-time board-certified emergency physician leader with experience in federally funded research and industry clinical trials. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, the department offers tenured and non-tenured academic multi-mission tracks depending on experience. The position includes responsibilities in research, patient care, and teaching, with support from a robust departmental research infrastructure and potential for transition to an assistant or associate chair leadership position.
UF Health Jacksonville’s main campus is a 639-bed urban teaching hospital with Level I trauma, pediatric emergency and observation units, a regional poison center, and a simulation center. Additional sites include UF Health North and related UF Health facilities in Jacksonville. The UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville supports education, research, and patient care with cross-campus collaborations.
