Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in emergency medicine, acute care, resuscitation science or related field.
• Early-career candidates with solid publication record and post‑doctoral experience.
• Mid-career candidates with demonstrated ability to obtain extramural funding as PI.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-impact, funded research program aligned with the department’s focus areas.
• Partner with clinicians in a multidisciplinary approach to conduct patient-focused, translational research.
• Pursue funding from a variety of sponsors, including industry, foundations, and federal agencies.
• Mentor students, fellows, and post‑doctoral researchers.
• Contribute to the collaborative research center on emergent/critical care topics.
