Job summary

Vituity seeks an Emergency Medicine Practice Administrator in Arlington Heights, IL. You will support medical directors, physician partners, and staff, acting as operational lead for the site and liaison to hospital leadership.

You will also handle financials, scheduling, audits, and site policies, coordinating with Revenue Cycle Management and IT systems to ensure smooth daily operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Two to three years in an office or healthcare setting required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR or related field preferred.
• Healthcare experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
• Strong consultation, organizational, and deadline-driven abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as the operational administrator for site leadership and interface with hospital and community.
• Front-line liaison for the provider team with hospital leadership and Vituity support.
• Provide executive support to the site medical director and management team.
• Support site financials including stipends, reimbursements, and payroll timecards.
• Serve as a super user for Vituity software and point person for hospital systems.
• Assist with subpoenas, depositions, and provider fee schedule development as needed.
• Manage meeting logistics, office systems, and customer service.
• Coordinate daily patient census and multidisciplinary rounds as applicable.
• Oversee site clinical schedules to ensure no disruption to patient care.
• Collect and analyze site financial and operational data; manage program projects.
