Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Evergreen Park, Illinois, is seeking a Practice Administrator to support site leadership, liaise with the hospital, and manage operations for the Vituity practice. You will assist with financials, scheduling, onboarding, and regulatory compliance to sustain high-quality care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with medical directors, provider teams, and the hospital’s leadership, while delivering efficient office operations and data-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in an office or healthcare setting.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Experience working in the healthcare field is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology and general HR principles preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Act as the operational administrator for the site leadership and as the interface for the practice to the hospital and community.
• Serve as the front-line liaison for the provider team with hospital leadership and Vituity support.
• Provide executive support to the site medical director and site management team.
• Assist with site financials including stipends, reimbursements, and payroll timecards.
• Act as a super user for Vituity software and coordinate hospital software/hardware.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, recredentialing, and compliance activities for providers and staff.
• Manage site office operations, meetings, and customer service.
• Coordinate daily schedules and ensure adequate coverage to maintain patient care.
