Mercor is seeking board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians to review, annotate, and evaluate AI-driven clinical documentation. You will apply ED expertise to shape the accuracy, safety, and usefulness of medical AI systems while working remotely on a part-time schedule.

Ideal candidates hold an MD with EM residency, are US-based, and have 2–3+ years of board-certified practice. Prior AI/ML experience is a plus, with flexible scheduling around ongoing clinical duties.

Responsabilités

Mercor is hiring board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians on behalf of a healthcare AI partner building advanced clinical documentation tools. In this role you will apply your emergency department expertise to review, annotate, and evaluate clinical documentation, directly shaping the accuracy, safety, and clinical usefulness of medical AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ED clinical documentation and patient charts for accuracy, completeness, and clinical soundness
• Evaluate AI-generated ED summaries against what a practicing emergency physician would expect to see on arrival
• Annotate clinical encounter data against detailed guidelines
• Flag omissions, hallucinations, clinical inaccuracies, and documentation gaps in AI-generated output
• Provide structured, written feedback that engineering and product teams can act on

Knowledge Contribution

• Contribute expert input on annotation guidelines and edge-case definitions
• Raise clarifying questions where guidance is ambiguous and help refine the guidelines

Required Qualifications

• MD with a completed Emergency Medicine residency
• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, with 2-3+ years of practice as a board-certified ED physician
• US-based

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior AI/ML annotation or model evaluation experience
• Experience synthesizing patient charts into ED arrival summaries
