Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Alabama. The role involves delivering comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population, with a zone-based collaboration model and the ED handling over 60,000 visits annually.

Responsibilities include managing acute trauma, teaching residents and medical students, and possible nocturnist scheduling, with a flexible roughly 14 shifts per month and a 7-day block off.

Qualifications

• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Alabama medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute medical care in the emergency department.
• Manage Level II trauma center cases with high-acuity and fast-track patients.
• Collaborate with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and teaching staff.
• Participate in shift coverage, including potential nocturnist duties.
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students.
