Accounting Search is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Alabama. The role involves delivering comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population within a zone-based care model, handling >60,000 annual visits, and managing both high-acuity trauma and fast-track patients.

The candidate will collaborate with experienced EM physicians, participate in teaching residents and students, and may cover night shifts.

Qualifications

• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a medical license in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute medical care in the emergency department.
• Manage critical cases typical for a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
• Engage in educational activities with residents and medical students.
• Participate in shift coverage, including possible nocturnist schedule.
• Maintain a flexible schedule of about 14 shifts per month with a 7-day block off.
