Job summary

Confident Search Consultants seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Alabama. You will deliver acute care, manage diverse trauma and non-trauma patients, and collaborate with board-certified physicians in a zone-based ED serving over 60,000 visits yearly.

The role offers about 14 shifts per month with a 7-day block off, potential nocturnist duties, and a robust benefits package including a $100,000 signing bonus, tail coverage, student loan repayment

Qualifications

• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a medical license in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute medical care in the emergency department.
• Manage critical cases typical for a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
• Engage in educational activities with residents and medical students.
• Participate in shift coverage, including potential nocturnist duties.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with about 14 shifts per month and a 7-day block off.
