Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship requirement as stated in the job announcement.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license to practice in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Fast Track under the guidance of the Emergency Medicine Service Chief/Director.
• Evaluate, stabilize, treat, discharge, admit or transfer patients with acute medical, psychiatric or surgical needs.
• Participate in teaching residents and physician assistant students; engage in quality and performance improvement activities.
