SMG System Medical Group in Braxton County, West Virginia seeks a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join the department serving WVU Health System facilities. The role requires MD or DO, eligibility for WV license, and completion of an ED residency; alternatives with substantial ED experience may be considered.

Location is Braxton County Hospital, with the WVU Health System’s regional network offering a broad multi-state service footprint.

WVUM and the department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a full-time (1.0FTE) Emergency Medicine Physician for Braxton Country Hospital.

Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited emergency medicine residency program for most positions; however opportunities are available for alternate boards (FM, IM) with significant ED experience.
