Job summary
WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV is seeking an Emergency Department physician to join a dynamic medical team. The role offers 12-hour shifts and the chance to work in a high-volume ED with connections to an academic medical center.
MD or DO, WV license/DEA required, with BE/BC in Emergency Medicine or substantial ED experience. The compensation package includes base pay plus productivity bonus, sign-on, CME allowance, retirement benefits, and stipends during training

Seeking an Emergency Department physician to join our dynamic medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. Your medical expertise will make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our diverse patient community. Come be the best at the best !
- Volume: 44,500 visits per year
- Shifts: 12 hours
- Coverage: 60 hours of physician coverage, 26 or 24 hours of APP coverage per day based on volumes
- High-volume ED associated with academic medical center. All in-house specialties with exception of PICU
- MD or DO degree
- Will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire
- BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, will consider FM/IM with significant high-volume ED experience
- Completed an ACGME-accredited residency
