Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. Start ASAP with regular shifts: 6a-6p and 6p-6a as single physician coverage, handling an annual volume of about 45 patients per day. EMR is Meditech; NP/PA coverage provided for 9 hours daily.

Texas license required; IMLC not accepted. Board certified in ABFM or ABIM with ER experience; ACLS, PALS, BLS credentials required; 2+ years ED experience or EM fellowship preferred.

Qualifications

• TX license required; IMLC not accepted.
• Board certification ABFM or ABIM with ER experience required.
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications required.
• 2+ years of ED experience or EM fellowship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine care to ED patients as the sole physician on shift.
• Collaborate with NP/PA coverage and consult back-up specialties as needed.
