Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Rosebud, SD. Shifts include 8am-8pm, 10am-10pm and 8pm-8am with a 13,000 annual patient volume and RPMS EMR usage.

The physician must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine and hold BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications. NP/PA coverage is provided, with a dedicated team to manage travel, lodging, and other logistics.

Qualifications

• ABEM certification or eligibility is required.
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are required.
• EMR: RPMS is used for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate care with NP/PA coverage for morning and evening shifts.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and accurate documentation in RPMS.

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual volume: 13,000 (10 beds in Emergency Department)
• Physician shift times: 8am-8pm, 10am-10pm, and 8pm-8am
• NP/PA Coverage: Yes, single Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant support for both morning and evening shifts
• Back up specialties available: None
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): RPMS
• Certifications required: Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
