Ripley, WV is a small, progressive city located in the Appalachian foothills of the Ohio River. The city enjoys the link to the junction of the two major road systems, Interstate 77 N/S and US Route 33 E/W.

The Jackson General Hospital Emergency Department provides acute care services for patients of all ages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. With a Level IV trauma center, adult and pediatric patients are seen for any cardiac, respiratory, trauma, or general medicine issues. Our goal is to deliver quick, effective diagnosis and treatment or transport for all patients.
Applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed Emergency Medicine residency and/or a fellowship and be eligible for the American Board of Medical Specialties. Emergency Medicine Board Certification required. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
